One percent, and only when you are paid.
There is no subscription. The page, the diary, the records and the reminders cost nothing whether you take one lesson a week or thirty.
What we take
One percent of a payment made through your page. On a £45 lesson that is 45p. If a parent pays you by bank transfer, we take nothing, and the booking still lives in your diary.
What Stripe takes
Card processing is Stripe’s own charge, currently around 1.5% + 20p for a UK card, and it comes out of the payment before it reaches you. We do not add to it or take a share of it. Their published rates are the ones that apply.
Whose money it is
Payments go into a Stripe account in your name. TutorSolo is never the merchant and never holds your money — we are paid a fee on the transaction, in the same way a card terminal is. If you stop using us, the account and the balance stay yours.
